Things are getting pretty serious. With 9 of us the folks rented one of those gigantic white vans to haul us to California in style. It really was huge. There was little talking between the front seat and the back seat. I had visions of kids reading, working on math, and even catching up on our scripture reading. Kumbaya, you know.
Within several hours my makeup bag was out and the boys were doing anything to keep themselves busy. I have to say, these two would make a pretty pair of ladies. If only they weren't so loud and rowdy.
What a welcome sight as we crossed the bridge into Coronado, California.
This was our hotel on Coronado Island. Parking right up front for us.
After the long drive the kids had to hit the pool. It was a tiny little thing with the deepest section only 3.5 feet, but it worked out great.
The kids needed little monitoring and we had it completely to ourselves.
These two gravitate to the hot tub always.
Maximum capacity in this hot tub was 3.
Coronado Island is one of my most favorite places. The weather is perfect, the houses are all so unique and well kept, you can walk the length of the island and shop. It is beautiful.
